Time: Every Wednesday 1.30pm – 2.00 pm and 2.00 – 3.00 pm drop-in clinic, no appointment required
Health Visitor Clinic
For child immunisations, appointments will be sent out to patients directly from the Health Board stating when to attend. There is an appointment-only immunisation clinic run by our Health Visitors on a Monday in the Community Wing in Northcroft Medical Centre.
Family Planning is offered in the course of routine appointments with the doctor or practice nurse. Anyone requiring contraceptive implant should make an appointment with Dr Galloway to discuss procedure. IUCD are available at the local Family Planning Clinic.

Maternity services in the antenatal and postnatal period, together with the midwives from the Pink Team RAH are provided. Kelburn District Midwife Team : 0141 887 9111.

Immunisation for adults in relation to travel. Not all travel immunisations are available on the NHS. Please ask our practice nurse for details.
All women between 20 – 60 should have this simple procedure normally every three years. We have an automatic recall system in operation to remind you when your next smear is due. The practice nurse carries out the check.
We run a flu jab clinic in late October. Ask at reception for further information.
- Annual comprehensive reviews for patients with heart disease.
- Annual comprehensive reviews for patients with diabetes.
- Chronic disease monitoring including asthma, stroke, hypertension and COPD.
Freezing of warts and other small skin lesions. Joint Injections
- An annual flu immunisation programme to protect the elderly and those at risk.
- Regular monitoring, by blood and urine tests, for patients on a range of drugs for arthritis and bowel problems.
- A methadone substitution programme for patients with drug abuse problems.

When a patient has not been seen for at least three years, the practice, in the course of consultation will make appropriate enquiries and examinations.
