Late Arrivals for Appointments – Our Approach
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes delays happen. To help us run our clinicssmoothly and fairly for everyone, we kindly ask patients to arrive on time for their appointments.
Less than 10 minutes late
We’ll do our best to still see you, either by fitting you in later during the clinic or offering a chance to rebook. Please be aware this may involve a longer wait.
More than 10 minutes late
At this point, the appointment is usually considered missed. You’ll need to rebook, but if your situation is urgent, the clinician may be able to see you at the end of their surgery.
Why Timing Matters
Seeing patients promptly helps us:
- Give everyone the time and attention they need
- Avoid delays for those who arrive on time
- Keep our clinics running smoothly
Frequent Lateness
If lateness becomes a regular issue patients will receive a letter of concern from the practice.
