Prescription Collection Information: To help us manage prescriptions efficiently and keep our phone lines free for urgent patient needs, please take note of the following.
When to collect your prescription: Please allow 72 working hours from ordering before attending the practice or pharmacy to collect your prescription. Pharmacies turnaround vary, so we recommend contacting your pharmacy for direct updates.
If there is a problem: If there is an issue with your prescription the pharmacist will call us direct to resolve it.
Running out of medication: If you’ve run out of your repeat medication, please speak to your pharmacist first. They may be able to issue you with an emergency supply.
Why this matters: We process repeat prescriptions for 2430 patients and have 27 different pharmacies daily to distribute to. This involves a significant amount of administration work. This is not a simple click of the button as there is a process for every request received. By following these guidelines, you help us keep our phone lines available for patients who need urgent attention.
